The residence is situated against the slope below the towering mountain top in Rooi-els.

The design concept is based on three boxes which house the bedroom, living and lounge areas.  

The slope is retained with natural stone gabions blending into the environment.

The natural stone texture is repeated in the built elements to amplify the link with the natural beauty of the area.

The patio allows foe sweeping views across the False Bay coastline.
