House Strydom

The design consist of a single storey holiday home, located in Kleinmond, with a view over the rocks and ocean beyond. The concept is to create of a modern fisherman’s cottage with references to the vernacular architecture of the Overberg region.

The design make use of a collection of textures offset against the white washed walls of the main structure.

It is also a juxtapostion of slim elements casting shadows against the solid mass acting as a backdrop.
