The project consist of extending an existing single storey storage facility into a double storey structure.
A steel portal frame structure in conjunction with precast concrete floor panels were placed over the existing storage units, which saved time ad allowed the existing units to be retained for use.
The roof sheeting flows into vertical side cladding to create a skirt which covers and unifies the old with the new.
Translucent sheeting is utilized in the roof to flood the interior with natural light.
